Platinum Plus Travel Insurance Benefits

For more comprehensive coverage and additional services including mental health and trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage, choose the iNext Platinum Plus card. Recommended for travelers intending to spend a longer time abroad or visit non-traditional destinations, iNext Platinum Plus is $215 and includes:

  • $100,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment – Air Only
    Coverage for the loss of life or limb by air while abroad.
  • $20,000 Accidental Death or Dismemberment – All Other
    Coverage for the loss of life or limb while abroad by means other than air.
  • $100,000 Accident Medical Expense
    Coverage for medical and surgical expenses due to an accident. This coverage pays medical expenses within one year from the date of injury, provided initial treatment was received while abroad.
  • $500 Dental Expense
    Covers the cost of emergency dental treatment given by a Physician or dentist.
  • $250 per day for 61 days Sickness/Hospital Benefit
    Coverage for sickness requiring admittance into a hospital as an inpatient.
  • $10,000 Mental Health Coverage
  • $1,000,000 Emergency Medical Transportation
    Offers emergency medical transportation if you suffer a serious illness or injury while abroad that warrants an emergency evacuation.
  • $50,000 Repatriation of Remains
    Reimbursement of the reasonable covered expenses incurred to return your body to the United States in the event of death while abroad.
  • $2,000 Baggage and Personal Effects
    Reimbursement for loss, theft, or damage to baggage and personal effects.
  • $200 Travel Delay
    Reimbursement up to the maximum amount shown if your trip is delayed for 12 hours or more due to weather, strike, or other job action, or equipment failure. Reimbursement of reasonable additional expenses until travel becomes possible.
  • $200 Baggage Delay
    Reimbursement of the cost of necessary personal items if your baggage is delayed or misdirected for more than 24 hours.
  • $1,000 Travel Document Replacement
    Reimbursement of fees associated with the replacement of your travel documents in the event that they are lost or stolen during your time abroad.
  • $3,000 Trip Cancellation / Trip Interruption
    Reimbursement for forfeited, non refundable, unused payment or deposit if your trip is cancelled or interrupted due to a covered event.
