As a longstanding leader
in the areas of health, safety, and security abroad, the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), the leading U.S. non-governmental international education organization, developed the iNext Travel Card to meet the increasing insurance needs
of U.S. youth studying, working, teaching, and volunteering abroad.
CIEE has set and raised standards in the field of international education since
1947, when into the chilly postwar world, CIEE launched the next generation of study
abroad programs, the first since they'd been suspended during World War II. As soon
as there was enough capacity to carry students aboard trans-Atlantic ships, CIEE
began offering teach abroad programs. Today, CIEE administers over 100 study and
teach abroad programs in over 35 countries for university students, graduates, and
educators.
Since 2006, iNext has been providing individuals and groups traveling abroad with travel and health insurance, 24 hour support
services, an international ID card, global calling card, and more. CIEE provides the iNext card free of charge to all
CIEE
program participants. Cards can also be purchased directly through our website
by anyone who is over the age of 13 and is a U.S. resident. Learn more about iNext Travel Card benefits.
By partnering with iNext, institutions and organizations can insure groups of individuals
planning to travel abroad in a just a few minutes. Learn more about how to partner with CIEE or
